spiffinspudater
I dont know about ultimate... but it is a slick looking truck. if he had used a lighter color and glossier paint it would be a great choice for some of my GIMPing. I def want to see more photos;) Quote Link to comment

datzenmike
I did! We used to call them 'Greek Wheels'. Sort of like something used on a war chariot to cut up the foot soldiers. Well that's what we thought when we were fifteen. Quote Link to comment
nismopu
That truck is so F-ing hot!!!!! DONT TOUCH IT!!! Quote Link to comment

tnip
datdoug - you think you could get some pics of that alum. air dam? that looks like a neat lil addition and i'd like to see how he put his on. what's up with the dash cover? is that crushed velour? haha it looks like he extended the bed rockers behind the cab but not behind the wheels, i like that idea. and is that a step rail added below the rocker in front of the wheels? overall that is one damn sweet lookin 620. your friend's doin some good work. datsun dreamer
That's a nice 620! Those little extras give it an original look Spinners, step rail, ski racks, Shaved side marker light's etc....Is this guy on the forum? Cant wait for some more pitcures! Quote Link to comment
tnip
i didn't even notice the shaved marker lights, maybe cause i automatically see them shaved, because i think they should have been "left on the cutting room floor" from the factory, but that's just me. i hope he joins up and share some more pics too. DatDoug
Yeah he is an original. I tried to get him to paint the rising sun on his hood but he said hes seen it done to many times. Can you tell he used to be a Dubber? (thats VW fan) He is putting in a new motor I will get pics soon. When he gets is running and driving good I'll get him to cruise to a meet. Quote Link to comment
tnip
him bein a dubber explains the roof rack... while functional on most cars i don't think i've ever seen a truck with a rack on the roof, kinda the whole purpose of havin a truck is to throw stuff in the bed no? Quote Link to comment
SHADY280
hey, how much is that lowered? im just trying to figure out how low i want mine. Quote Link to comment
mklotz70
most guys know I'm not a 620 guy, but I really like that one!! I could do without the roof rack, I love the wide whites and the aluminum spoiler!! Makes me want to get wide whites for my NL!! Quote Link to comment

Sharing is Caring Quote Link to comment
phatdave
Hopefully everbody has a picture in thier head of what they want in a Datsun. I say welcome aboard, and keep up the inovations... Quote Link to comment
mklotz70
All you would have to do is to roll a lip in to the lower endge and it would have a finished look that it's missing now. But you're right....it probably won't get copied cause you guys are too cheap to buy the aluminum!!!! LOL j/k :) Quote Link to comment
lynchfourtwenty
i like my fiberglass air dam, i'd take an aluminum duplicate of it if i could tho.. but the one he has.. is NOT my style.. lol cool 4 him tho Quote Link to comment
DatDoug
Personally I dont like the looks of any air dams on vehicles. Aluminum or fiberglass. The thing I most like about Gregs truck is he did all that stuff by himself! I helped him with the mechanical stuff but as for the whole look and the little nuances it was all in his head (like phat dave said) This is the reason I chose to share this pic of his Ratsun with you. He cant even join this site because he is to poor to pay for internet. Low budget Multi talented (does all the work on his Datsun himself) Uses what he has Wants to be different and innovative Sounds like a Ratsun Rodder to me. Quote Link to comment
Icehouse
Well said DatDoug! I like seeing pics of other peoples rigs, usually if I steel someone's idea I change it a little. Its gotta fit my taste to :D Quote Link to comment
