I have a few bells ,,, but they are still on the good 4speeds ,,, and the reason i thought i might need it was i wasn`t sure about Donovans 5speed cuz it was laying in neighbors scrap pile when it was donated to project...Cdub Chris really needed a 5speed a few weeks ago but my kids had all caught the flu ,,,one after another ,,, at the time so couldn`t get out to fix it for him...It`s still in the box with the garbage bag wrapped around it.. ....My son really wants a Ka single to push that tank around better,, so at some point we might have that bell housing,, as from what i have read we should be able to just change bell to a NapZ bell and KAe should bolt right up.. Then spend another million dollars buying everthing else to make it run..while somehow paying for his college and his younger brothers car ,,,, and insurance . :sneaky:

Why would you assume ignorance?? the L18 is bigger and they wouldn`t have to change flywheel... Some W58 heads are closed chamber , i have one on my L16,,, it may not have the biggest valves of all but i am positive it`s an improvement over a 210 head .. Anyway,,, car looks to be in really good shape

yeah i think that`s pretty much your only fix without disassembling and replacing a bunch of probably really overpriced parts.... from what i have read i think 2nd gear will follow eventually ....but i don't know why.

For all the money your going to spend putting the 307 in ( even if you have engine and trans now ) why not just buy new rotor motor.??.....My wife bought a 88 RX7 gsl brand new and it was the fastest lemon ever sold so i hate, hate, hate rotories ,,,,,,,,,,but it seems to me that it would get you back hot rodding around much cheaper..
