  1. Were those HP numbers dyno verified? What carbs were you running? I'm still very curious what my LZ is going to do with a 32/36, until I can afford some big carbs.
  2. All this conversation reminds me of a '73 Challenger a friend and I built after it was passed down from his dad. Cordoba 360 bored .30 over, big cam, tall intake, big carb, etc. Scariest 0-60 car I've ever driven. It ha a stock torqueflite 3-speed and a 4.10 rear gear, so it would pull all the way to about 100mph before it reached the end of the power band. BRUTAL. But a terrible 1/4 mile car because of the rear gear. Great 1/8th times though.
  3. Outstanding! If it impresses DM, it must be beastly.
  4. What cam/carb were you running? That motors freakin powerful!
  5. Currently waiting on parts for my LZ22 long rod motor. I'll have it going in a few weeks if all goes well. A87 peanut, big cam, big valves, huge ports, forged everything.
  6. Yeah, I usually see that in the Honda market. Shit is crazy here. You would be surprised man.
  7. God I wish I could neg that LS1 douchebag for that thread.

  9. They're 15x9, offset about -40 (I haven't measured yet) Rear 225/50/15 Front 205/50/15
  10. Yeah man! AZ special lol. I have NEVER seen an AZ carry spoilers or CF parts 0.o guess my store is a little more legit then most. My tire/rim size is what keeps me off the ground. My main issue with the current ride height is that my exhaust rubs/rattles. Speed bumps tear it up, since the torsion bars won't let you run over the crossmember. Need to get rid of those stupid things. I'm about 1'' from my control arms colliding. Little poke! It's hard adjusting to my truck with less aggressive rims on it. I really liked the Eagles, and I may keep them afterall and get a wider set of tires on them (not street tires.) I want to auto-X my truck in the future but that's a long way away. _DSC0137 by metalmonkey47, on Flickr _DSC0138 by metalmonkey47, on Flickr _DSC0139 by metalmonkey47, on Flickr _DSC0140 by metalmonkey47, on Flickr _DSC0142 by metalmonkey47, on Flickr

      Oh no biggie.

      I got acura seats. :P

Nice seats make stiff suspension livable daily !!

My 510 is so comfortable, and has suspension like bricks.

  17. That's lowered? You have a lot more to go ;)
  18. 215 and 225 would be stretched onto a 15x9, but not by much. http://www.willtheyfit.com/index.php?width=215&aspect=60&diameter=15&wheelwidth=9&offset=10&width2=225&aspect2=50&diameter2=15&wheelwidth2=9&offset2=10&Submit=Submit ^This website does an awesome job of showing you exactly what you're at with individual tire sizes. I run 15x10's on my truck with a 225/50 out back. I'll try and snag a good picture of how it looks. Scratch that, here's a decent picture of 225/50/15's on a 15x10 _DSC0031 by metalmonkey47, on Flickr
  19. So is canby really just some orgy where all the forum nuts get together and... welll..... spoon?
  20. I see those pop up all the time down here, except in the last few months.
  21. Mike you are the man  I totally understand now. God I don't know what we'd do without you. I probably won't see a whole lot of power on it for a LONG time, at least until I have something else to daily. I'm gonna enjoy 130-150HP a lot though compared to the 52 I've been driving on,. I took it for a drive today and pounded it harder then it's even been driven before (since I've had it at least) and the damn thing just refused to give up. It's weird, every complaint I've had with the brakes, and all the crap just disappeared for an hour. Everything was perfect. It even felt like it had more midrange torque. I was sliding around making u-turns, powering hard away from lights, it was just crazy. I wasn't being too stupid though, just giving it a good romping. It's almost like the harder I drove it and further I revved it out, the better it ran the next time I took off. Strange. Anyways, got all my parts ordered. Most of my stuff is here now. just waiting on gaskets and head dowels and the motor will be ready for assembly  I don't know when it will go in though, I'm hoping soon. The trans will be rebuilt 100% including synchros at the same time so i'm kinda excited to get everything in perfect working order again.
  22. Last LZ parts are ordered. Not we wait.... give me about a month and I should be pounding asphalt with a new motor.
