Well this one has 3 wires to it. two have 12volts, however I don't think that they both are supposed to have 12volts. So what your saying is that one is an input, and the other is an output?

My story... So I was on the search for a first car. I decided if I was going to have an import it HAD to be RWD. That was a requirement. I knew how much of a fucking pain it is to work on some FWD cars. I started looking at old mustangs, camaro, things of that nature. I'm a real big fan of American Muscle. I was with my brother one day when we raced a Z32 300ZX and that was the day that my love for Nissan's blossomed. I started looking for old Nissan's and shit. Found tons of old 300ZX's that I almost bought until the owner sold to someone else. The a friend told me of someone he knew that was selling a 280Z turbo for $200. Friend got arrested and the car was gone by the time he checked in on it. Then I started scouring craigslist for Datsun's and I came accross the "B210" as the owner called it. Drove out there and picked it up for $550 and brought it home and it's been a pain in our ass since then. lol Everyone tells me its just a piece of shit beater, but I think my Sunny is beautiful and I cherish it and take care of it, and it's slowly becoming what I want it to be. My response to them is always "yeah, but it's my little beater." The whole tire falling off thing didn't really help my argument that it wasn't a piece of crap. And I mean, how do you explain the love of a Datsun to someone who really doesn't feel the same love for Datsun's? You really have to own one to understand that Datsun's are a lifestyle. The car is a pain in my parents ass and I love it. Hell, I even had a code enforcement officer called out shortly after it rolled into the driveway to harass us about it. "If you love something, set it free. If it comes back, it was meant to be. If it doesn't, HUNT IT DOWN AND KILL IT!!!"

It's cool to an extent. I would prefer a simple stereo and an old style dash over the new style.

Tried that =/ The rheostat is the dimmer located on a separate harness. 3 wires to it; G/W, G/Y, and Black.. G/W and G/Y have 12volts. Black is negative/ground.

So to keep it simple, my dash lights don't work. I pulled the dash and applied 12volts to the correct part of the socket where the harness plugs into the dash and I get full light. The weird thing is those two sockets ARE getting 12volts so why aren't my gauges working? I checked the harness and I have 12volts at the green/yellow and green/white to ground. I've tried two different rheostat's and I still have no light. Now, I think it's very strange that the g/y and g/w BOTH have 12volts. One should be negative right? ALSO the shithead that I bought to car from tried to hide an electrical problem with the car by removing the light that illuminates the voltage indicator. I put a bulb in and the fucker lit up. Not very bright though.. Anyways.... Help?

Not 100% sure, but I believe you should have an access panel underneath the carpet in the back. Got one on my 210 and I think I saw something about one on a 510 once, but idk about yours.

Got em from rock auto for the most part. Some wholesale closeout that were just a few bucks a-piece, but I think I got em all

I get my rim cleaner and brake pads at autozone. They aren't good for much else. Or maybe even the occasional muffler.
