  1. I don't think he took those Check water mark on bottom corner http://1013mm.com/
  2. Indy is the man! thanks for posting
  3. No, I don't think that dogleg will fit your truck. If I'm correct, the starters are at different locations. L vs. Z
  4. looks identical to my B310/210 brakes.
  5. Z31 chassis. Those things are pretty cool. I think only '84-85 had what he calls the 'bitching betty' and digital dash. I've never seen a digital dash in one of those that worked right. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4xH-wF2-34Y
  6. Zomg I have epic oics of a Civil war battlefield with 3K flags on it.

  7. The '80 and '81 grills are slightly different. 1980 has a 'D' emblem and the 1981 says 'Datsun' on it..
  8. I probably will drop by the dealer tomorrow and ask about them. I just wanted to get it done since I was already stopping by Autozone for some brake parts cleaner.
  9. P/N is 38410 and can be found at most autoparts stores in the 'Help' section for roughly $6.99
  10. I'm gonna go ahead and pull the trans again tonight I think. I work at 7AM tomorrow morning, so I'd HAVE to get it done by tomorrow morning. Found the seal is in stock at my Autozone, timkin P/N 1981. Coincidence? ollz. From the look of it, it's gonna be a simple few bolts on the cover after I get it all apart. Hopefully nothing more then that.
  11. I'll update with the P/N in the morning. Don't have the paperwork around me.
  12. Figured out why my clutch was slipping again. Pulled the tranny and the mother fucker was COATED in oil/grease mix. I was highly dissapointed. Got some brake parts cleaner and hosed it down until it looked new. Put on a new friction plate, and found all the oil pan bolts were loose Hope that keeps this clutch nice and tight.
  13. Got it! Went to autozone and got some Ford door bushings, which were a perfect fit! Pressed em in with my vise and drilled the little brass fuckers to match the bolt Found some real nasty shit while I has the tranny out though Updating the build thread in a few minuets
  14. I've seen a few people talk about it, but not thread with specific information. I'm pulling the transmission in my 210, and I want to get a bushing in the shifter (PO removed it for some reason). I'm curious about what you guys have used in place of that. PIX in a moment.
  15. Dropping the transmission tomorrow.

and did you drink lots of orange juice last night??

  19. To an extent, sure. But think of it like disk brakes: your pads are always in contact with the rotor. Any distance between the shoe and the drum results in a loss of braking strength. The contact that your shoes make with the drum will be minimal.
  20. Great news on his recovery! I hope JCCS helped him remember how awesome Datsun's are, and how important it is he fully recover so he can build another epic 510
