  1. How high is 'races?' The carb is designed with a high idle when cold. You can adjust it.
  2. fuuuuuu.. I derped on Ratsun again.

  3. ........................that is so fucking cool!
  4. Yessir! Parked her for winter, and now that the temperature is around 70 degrees again, it's time to get this two stroke smoke project blowing again.
  5. False. If you can smell fuel in the exhaust, sounds like it's over jetted. It's not likely to be ignition related, especially if the car's running okay now. MSD is great, but won't make a HUGE difference burning off excess fuel. Although I will say this: my A15 burned more oil then gas, and after the MSD upgrade I never had oil fouled plugs again.
  6. Maybe faulty thermostat and temp gauge reading incorrectly? Is the lower hose hotter then the upper? How about the lines to the heater core?
  7. Anyone in the Seattle area wanna snag me a part and ship it to me? I give you 15 dorra!

  8. orly? I'll just put in bucket seats I was hoping someone would say "put on an L series front cover" and it would fit perfect lol. KA 5 speeds are like crack down here. People throw them away for scrap. L series 5 speeds on the other hand...
  9. Damn.. wanna pick one up for my L20B and ship it? I'll pay you for your time
  10. I saw some discussion on this a while back, but can't seem to find any usable information. What is required to mount a KA to a L20B? I know it's about 34'' long vs 26 inches, but what do I need to look into other then driveshaft length?
  11. My first ever motor that I built was a Honda CB175 twin. Easy motor! IT's a little different, but it's pretty cool. Cafe racers don't require much welding skills to complete. My 175 was 75% done when i sold it and was never touched with a welder.
  12. Consider this the official build thread for my '75 KV100 cafe racer Gonna be workin with Josh_T on this one, since I know nothing about 2 strokes. Edit-1-17_6_5 by metalmonkey47, on Flickr Saki by metalmonkey47, on Flickr Saki by metalmonkey47, on Flickr
  13. dude, just come look at mine! It's identical to yours, just less arch. I may know where a set is at as well..
  14. run by autozone and get a glasspack for $22. Weld in under the center and run a nice resonated tip. Either that or order a 2'' resonator from summit for $30 and just run that.
  15. I heard the eBay ones were cheap quality. Very interested in everyones input.
  16. Looking at the pictures makes me wonder if the A10 510 front fenders/grill would fit the b310 since theyre nearly identical..
  17. NGK Platinums. $2.99 a piece @ Autozone. You can always use the $1.99 NGK Coppers. BPR6ES and standard equipment.
  18. When i put on my MSD CDI ignition box and coil on my A15, I saw a pretty great increase in it's reliability. It ran a lot smoother at mid to high RPM's over the stock stuff. It wasn't an intense increase, but I think it was worth the money I spent on it. Been considering improving my ignition on my L20B now. I love MSD products and I think that if Jacobs are as good as I'm told, they far surpass MSD.
  19. A87 head is stock on L18 correct?

Of course you won't know if it's open or closed chamber until you take the head off. US-spec ones were open.

Any performance difference between open chamber a87 vs u67?

U67 has bigger intake ports and exhaust valves may or may not be bigger. A87 would have snappier low-end response, but run out or air faster at higher RPMs.

  20. You're gonna bankrupt me with the awesome shirts... lol Think I'll order one for my friend. Gotta see what size.
  21. Those are sexyyyy. Would look pretty awesome on a 4x4 620
  22. Any idea when we might expect to see these? I know typically it takes a few weeks to get them printed and out..
