  1. Thank you Tom, That is all we needed was to be informed on what was going on. We can understand better, if we are informed. Lack of information builds distrust, so all we need is to be updated at least once a month, and all should be happy. :D
  2. Tell us more about the stop - start button, how does it work, how much did the system cost, and what's the difference between the two different buttons? Thanks. By the way, the whole setup is way cool!
  3. Someone needs to inform him that anyone can get on the internet at the nearest public library, and that excuses are like assholes, everyone has one! ;)
  4. I don't know what makes me drool more, the 510, or the girl! :hyper::sweat::frantics::thumbup:
  5. Yes, it doesn't matter weather carb, or injection, you should always mount an electric pump as close to the tank as possible, and place a filter before and after. The one before is to protect the pump, and the one after to protect the injectors in case the pump goes bad.
  6. When I first started buying from him, his prices weren't too bad, but now he thinks his stuff is pure GOLD. He is now a Last resort. :(
  7. I don't think 123 is so slow when you think about Maxton being a standing start 1 mile sprint, it should be faster @ Bonneville, where he will have a lot more room to get up to speed. If I ever get my Lexus sorted out, I would like to take it to Maxton for a run, sounds like fun!
  8. Looks to me like we can all just kiss our money goodby. :(:(:(:bye:
  9. This looks like a total waste of bandwidth????
  10. Bob, I guess you noticed that I didn't make it Sunday, I came down with a ear infection Friday, and had bad ear ache Sat. night. That plus the weather Sunday, I decided I wasn't up to it. I'll just have to wait till my next weekends roll around again. The 510 looks better every day!!
  11. OK, If all goes well, I'll be down Sunday afternoon, Thanks!
  12. Sorry for no updates for so long, I haven't done much for a while, because of trying to get things sorted out on the Lexus, and many problems. It is missing the EGR system, and one cat, so it will not pass smog. Seems that the JDM cars had no EGR, and I can't find domestic 2JZDTE intake and exhaust manifolds and related parts to put it on. The previous owner will not help in any way, so I'm going to have to take him to court, since the seller is responsible for smog in CO. The 620 got rear ended last Friday on the way to work, so I'm going to have to start over on the tailgate. Luckily the tailgate is the only thing damaged, so it could have been worse, but still depressing as it takes me forever to do bodywork, I wish I was better at it! I will post progress photos and damage pics as well as soon as I can get them uploaded. Sometimes I think if it weren't for bad luck, I wouldn't have any at all! :(
  13. Just in case someone else has this problem, I'm telling the rest of the story. My problem came back, and slowly got worse. I started getting a miss under heavy load, along with the tach problem. Since every thing else in the ignition system is new I replaced the pickup and the matchbox on the distributor, and everything is sunny and wonderful again. :D:D:D
  14. Bob, your work is fantastic as usual, I've got to see it in person! I've got a rare weekend off, are you going to be around this coming weekend?
  15. Wow! I can't remember when my shop was that clean, want to do Mine next?
  16. You are making better progress than I am, I,ve got the same problem. :(
  17. I would shorten it enough to get a duct hose on it, and run it to behind the head lights, then find a K&N element to fit. That would give cool air and low restriction. :)
  18. The pics are cool, you can deliver the cabinets to my house! :P On my 76 they told me the frame was bent on one side, and they might have to straighten it to get it in spec, but it ended up just making it, so that is the main reason I never lowered it any more than 2 inches.
  19. That is what they make E85 for! :hyper::w00t:
  20. You only need to heat them to about 200 degrees, which isn't more than they would be in normal use on a hot day under heavy use, and with the axle chilled, it does the trick.
  21. The real question, is there any new info? :poke:
  22. OMG! How do women do that? Drives me nuts!!:hyper:
