Rust is the major thing to watch out for, for me mechanical is easy to fix, but body work especially rust is a bitch. :(

Tom, Thanks for the update, wish I would have known that you had the other seals in stock, I would have bought from you instead of the guy I got them from. I still need the wiper seals that go on the door windows, the only ones I have found are for the 3rd world trucks with vent windows, or reddats over priced ones. Also I'm looking for the fuzzies that go on the inside on the deluxe door panels that go all the way up to the window. Any help would be appreciated. :)

If you are not in a hurry, there are some nice ones on ebay for reasonable prices, I got mine for around $5 with 12 smds on a board and an adapter to the bulb socket. It puts out a nice white light, and puts out 3 times as much light as the original. If you are in a hurry, go to superbrightleds.com. That is where I get most of mine from, there is not one incandesant bulb on my truck, heater no longer slows down when I turn on the headlights, and don't have to worry about bulbs burning out. :P

I don't know about "Down Under", but in the US the 4X4 shops sell steering flip kits that include the pre-made inserts that you don't have to drill out the arms, and a reamer to redo the taper on the other side. The bigger shops, "4 Wheel Parts Wholesalers" do mail order, if you can't find a kit locally. :D

Mine runs great with 21/4 and a Flowmaster! :P

The shifter on the L series 5 speed is in the same position as the 4 speed, so unless there is a difference in the J series placement, you shouldn't have a problem. I did notice that your seat doesn't have the notch cutout that the US L series trucks have, so the J may be different.Keep up the great progress reports, I always look forward to your posts! :cool:

I have everything else, new windshield, front and rear seals, just need the sides and I can get my interior finished. Thanks! :cool:
