  1. They're imaginary? Well you take a real one, such as many of the ones found on 720s, and bolt/weld it to the frame. The roof isn't as a weak as you believe it is. The roof panel itself can be bent with a good thump but the top of the cab is well made. My father rolled his 620 and was able to push it over and kick the roof out enough to get in and drive home.
  2. Nice 620 that needs fucking 4x4 not a very nice price In Nawlins http://neworleans.craigslist.org/cto/3573651473.html
  3. On the bottom rear of the brake drums is a slot the might have a rubber boot over it. In that slot is the gear that adjust the brakes. Find the right flat head screwdriver, or a proper brake adjuster tool. with the truck jacked up try to spin the wheel your working with and it should rub slightly at a point in rotation. That's how mine are adjusted, not gonna say it's correct. Turn the gear one of two ways to achieve this. There's tons of 620s with rollbars. 720 and D21 rollbars fit. Yota, ranger, mazda, etc. rollbars probably fit too. You can put a 720 column int he 620 with some work. I've been considering it myself for the sake of safety. Rockauto.com Jcwhitney.com Partstrain.com sell replacement seatbelts with shoulder straps. The 620 came with should straps. The earlier ones had a shoulder strap bolted to the cab that hooked into the lap belt. Later 620's have retractable seatbelts. I drive the piss out of my 620 every day. Watch out for idiots and be wary of understeer.
  4. will my 620 4 speed mount to a z24? My truck is probably sold and I'm gonna need another one. http://pensacola.craigslist.org/cto/3512421714.html

  5. Make sure the points open. If they're not adjusted where they will open then no spark for you. Be sure you put the rotor back on, I've done that...
  6. Going out for a bike ride. It's been a few years...

Bicycle. Borrowing a friends Mongoose. It rides great. It's got the suspended frame and disc brakes. All the $$ goodies.

  7. Nice truck. And welcome to fuck all. Is that brown in the paint scheme? I've seen the build thread for that truck somewhere.
  8. Did you ask if it had a title? We don't have the luxury of driving without titles in SC
  9. Those front wheels are crazy. Nice score. Datsun saves ;)
  10. It's all arranged. Sleeper from hell is right. The 4 door weighs 590 lbs less than a Cutlass with the same engine.
  11. Good luck finding .22 rounds.... Hey ratsun. I bought a cowboy shotgun. Pre 1900 H&R Improved Fremont 12ga single shot. Of course as soon as I get a good pump....
  12. If you ever get rid of it you know you'll get another, if you haven't already.

    Head removal.

Engine? There's the head bolts and timing chain or rockers depending. If it's just stuck, smack it on the side with a wooden mallet a few times. That's how I got mine loose.
  14. 138$ seems a bit much for a one way car trailer rental. Anyone have a trailer I an rent?

I ran a chain through two pieces of fence pipe and bolted the chain to the bumper of a Ford and drug it to the scrapyard. Then jacked it up with a bobvat and took the rims off. Then it was hewed apart by a giant claw in a giant explosion of dust and rust.

  15. Alright folks. Should I get it? Three yes's by monday and I'll buy it.
  16. edit: how did that get here? Whatevs Here's a 600$ running 210 http://atlanta.craigslist.org/atl/cto/3535207097.html
  17. 77 kc 800$ Runs and drives http://community.ratsun.net/topic/51291-1977-620-kc-in-sc-800/
  18. Sold it. It was a flip. Made 400% so no complaints. I'd love to have another but with powersteering and automatic or at least a floor shifter. It was a real bitch to drive. The interior was completely bare. Had to pay bills and didn't get to finish. Had it all drawn out and calculated. Insulated and paneled with a netted 4 ft cargo section in the back and 2 piece fold down bed. The stereo system was going to be epic.
