The head is off at the machin shop so i figured it'd be a great time to tear into the water temp and fuel guage not working.Got them fixed-cool.Now to the dash lights.Got everything LED'd and ready except the headlight & wiper switch weren't lighting up.I find that the fiber optic line to both had been cut(PO). So i search my 79 parts truck and find the system is intact,in addition i get the wiper delay up-grade.So i start to remove the system for the donor truck.But i can't get the headlight switch un-plugged.I spend 30 minutes at it.Nothing.I've been doing this a long time and i know all the tricks.So i ended up cutting the connector off which i hate as it ruins a good harness. So tonight at the bench,it took me 20 minutes....TWENTY FUCKING MINUTES to get them apart.Why-you might ask? The previous owner SUPERGLUED the connectors together!!! I believe the adapter was forged and i know the manifold is cast.Makes no difference.Aluminum stitches nicely.I have no intention of opening anything up.This motor was a specifc build for a truck used on a ranch & driven daily.The cam is all done by 5500 and the torque peak is 3500 or so.It puts 160 ft pounds to the wheels.

A header on a 810 is kinda point-less.

Last i knew they were still available from the dealer.
