  1. Everyone did but one guy... His name was Robert and we called him "Raw Dog Rob" after that. A lot of crazy shit happened while we were in the the PI. I have stories for day. Its a really cool place and if anyone gets the chance to go overseas, I sugest you go. Fun time.
  2. Never once slept with any prostitutes :) And we only had one guy get crabs once... otherwise everyone came home clean. With some of the places I saw people going into in Philippines, it surprises me.
  3. L20b is the important part. It may not be the exact engine that came with the truck from the factory, but thats whats suppose to be in it. You have an L20 block with a W53 head.
  4. Pm Anth... I think these are the same ones in his. I haven't look at his interior pics in a bit, but seem familiar.
  5. Any more pictures of the green roadster on the right? I like the color
  6. Looks like good work Frank. Having intermittent wipers would be sweet... maybe this is something that can be adapted to my '69. Im already doing a bunch of dash wiring so, this shouldnt be a problem.
  7. Wow that was quick! Glad you like it... feel free to throw a picture up of it in action. Thanks again for the business :)
  8. Im will to give you a hot karl if thats what youre really into.
  9. Lol yeah, that can happen. Have you made sure there are no vacuum leaks? You can spray some soapy water around all the areas where gaskets are and such. Wherever there are bubbles, youve got a leak.
  10. You will want to look at the accelerator pump. Its what helps squirt a little gas in when you go from idle to higher revs like youre taking off from a stop. Make sure its functioning right, the rubber bellows isnt cracked and such. You should be able to lift it up and actuate it and see if gas squirts into the bowl. Youll need to remove the air cleaner to look down inside.
  11. I really wish I was into Datsuns and JNC years ago. I would have brought so many things back from Thailand and the Philippines. I saw many a swap meet similar to the pictures posted and could have scored big on parts.
  12. Of course I know that... I didnt go to school in Tumwater; I had a proper education. Theres still the entirety of France between the two countries. And you cant say that just because a country is close they speak the same language. Almost every European country has its own language... or look at America and the French Canadians. Look how close they are on the East Coast and yet we dont speak French. Just seemed odd.
  13. Im super confused over this thread. You speak perfect English, live in Belgium, and use the word "hermano." This should be a good build for sure.
  14. It would be nice if you constructively posted and contributed to the forum... not just 25 posts of "Nice!" or similar comments. You only have 3 more posts to go... so whatever.
  15. You need 25 posts. Then follow this: http://community.ratsun.net/topic/55376-how-to-use-the-new-for-salewanted-classifieds/
  16. It may be 68 only, but a lot of the year clues dont work in Japan. All their front markers are arrows, they didnt have rear markers, and all their license plate lights are in the bumper. I would say the key would be rear window trim... that was an early option only everywhere if Im not mistaken.
  17. Got a chance to go through this... this is exactly what I was looking for. Youre a life saver. Now I can rebuild a nice new dash harness. Awesome thank you. Im in no rush, so just shoot me a PM whenever it happens. Thanks again!
  18. Well, good luck with the sale. Hope it finds a good home either way. If its not gone by the 22nd, you should bring it down to A&W.
  19. I thought this was a keeper Jeffie?
