Seeker > 620 KC
I went to Ecology in Chula Vista to find a 78 620. Turns out it was a 68 520 :crying: Quote Link to comment
decoy12
Anyone seen any 620's at any wrecking yard in SoCal? I have but they were pretty picked over. The Ecologys in Santa Fe Springs (73) and the Fontana one (79 KC). Quote Link to comment
datsunpolisher
I took the driveline, dome lamp, and wheel caps off of this, you didn't leave much, I was wondering which ratsuner lives around visalia Lol were the caps still stacked up in the corner of the bed? Quote Link to comment

67_1600
If you don't know, you can also do this: http://www.picknpull.com/check_inventory.aspx This site is great - you can do a search for just 'Datsun' without specifying a model, or do a general search for something like any car or truck, 1960-1972. It's limited to just PnP yards, but I like it much better than the PickNPull site. http://row52.com/home Quote Link to comment
datsunpolisher
Just seen this little gem today. Fresno pickapart who needs a windshield? Quote Link to comment
67_1600
I don't see it in the pic, but was the steering wheel in the 320? Quote Link to comment
wayno
Just seen this little gem today. Fresno pickapart who needs a windshield? There are a couple things that should be pulled off this truck, the wiper motor and drive/transmission if not frozen, tailgate chains, the license plate light if it has a good one(or at least the glass piece), any good dash knobs, and obviously the windshield. There is lots of other stuff also, but most is a hassle like the wiper drive unless the dash has been removed. I would be interested in the heater box assembly/core if it looked good. datsunpolisher
Wayno, i got the wiper arms. Inside rearview mirror no cracks. Outside door handles. And the windshield has a small chip but that can be fixed. I did notice it had the licen light. And wiper motor. But as usual i ran out of extra spending cash. Cause im waiting on other money to come in. Ya the heater box looked good. I will go back in a few and take pics. I just wanted to get this windshield home first. Dash was still in there but the knobs were no good. Has a good glove box door. No sterring wheel there was a grant but its gone. Quote Link to comment
wayno
This is the important part, but harder to remove, more than one on here has needed this. It is held on by 5 screws around the motor, and the two wiper pivot shafts(keep all nuts and bolts/screws), it can be pulled if the glove box insert has been removed, at least that is how I did it on my NL320. But one has to make sure the pivots are free before removing it, otherwise it would be a waste of time. I am not sure how much you could get for it though, as no one has had a good one to sell on here. If the heater box is good looking, and you think the heater core might be good, and the price is reasonable(what's reasonable in CA?), I want it, I am not sure why Mike never hooked up my heater core, but I am sure there was a reason. datsunpolisher
Check your pm wayno:) It still had water in it when i pulled the hoses off so im guessing the core is still good. Quote Link to comment

Lordmodelbuilder
Was down at the Pick your Part in San Diego yesterday. Address is 880 Energy Way, Chula Vista,Calif.91911. The is a 1973 620 shortbed that has an old Capri V6 and auto trans in it. It also had an 8 or 9" rear. The rear was 5-lug. Also had a pair of 14" alum slot mags on the front. There was also a 1967 520 pickup there. It had a J15 engine that was just sitting in the engine compartment. The head was on the fender. Looked like it moght have been freshened up but junked. Hope someone can get down there and get some good parts. Brad http://public.fotki.com/Lordmodelbuilder/mini_truckin/wrecking-yard-minis/page3.html # 91-99 are more pics of the 2 trucks. wayno
Wow, that place has a lot of small truck stepside boxes in it. Did the 520 still have it's dash, looking at it I would suspect it was gone. Quote Link to comment
