Been super nice this weekend so I finally got some time to make some -10AN lines for the oil cooler. Iv been doing a lot of stuff to try and bullet proof the things that have all left us stranded at one time or another because of some dumb failure lol 3 Quote Link to comment

Once I had all the settings correct tuning has been pretty easy. Iv got input from other MS guys but tuning wise Iv been doing it all myself. Im still waiting on a dyno day to have someone better than me smooth out as much as possible, but its been running and driving good, Iv put about 300 miles on it so far. 3 Quote Link to comment

Skib
Finally got to the dash. Pulled the harness and made a bunch of repairs and added the plugs for the new gauges ect. This dash was not just cracked but so warped the cap wouldn't ever come close to fit. I had to take the fap disk to the pad and use every clamp in the shop lol 3D printed some adapters for the speed hut gauges. 5 Quote Link to comment

datzenmike
I thought only the ET automatics with oil coolers had them. Is that an early turbo engine? they were all automatics. Quote Link to comment

Its an 82/83 with T5 or, was anyway lol nothing left of what's specific for those but the trans really. Quote Link to comment
Skib
Finally got some door panels for this car. Spent way to long getting the door window actuator and locks dialed in. Adjusting door glass is a pain lol but finally have a complete interior so it feels so much less like driving around in a project. keen eyed Z people... whats off about this picture... 2 Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
It's the big/little things that pay off big time when enjoying your ride. Not much fun having to push outwards on the glass every time you roll up the window. Good going. Quote Link to comment

datsunfreak
FYI, any time I have to screw down a trim panel, I use these. Gives it a more finished look. 👍 1 Quote Link to comment

Something less obvious is there lol Quote Link to comment

datsunfreak
Or is it just that this is a 280Z door panel on a 240Z? Quote Link to comment

If you can't change the whole car every few years, you need to change all the stuff on it to keep it "fresh". These days it is unfathomable to see a car company keep making the same car for 10 years without a complete overhaul. Well, except Nissan. They made the 370Z for 11 years. And the R35 Skyline for 14 years (and still counting). And the D40 Frontier for 18 years. Geez those guys hold onto a car forever... 😄 Edited July 29, 2022 by datsunfreak 1 Quote Link to comment
