But you get the added benefit of heating the bolt up to 6000+ degrees celsius

..... got stuck and broke off inside....

 

 

..... But the answer is the bolt broke flush.....

 

...... my heart sunk when that bolt snapped... that's also why it's in three threads .....

So my flywheel recently exploded....

It's slow going... this damn thing is some sort of tough I tell you. But it's getting drilled. Could t punch a divot I to it so it's not exactly centered. Never the less I'll continue carefully until I get the whole wide then use something to try and break it apart and remove the chunks.

Lol ok flexplate.. so how do I pry off that rear spacer, this thing is mucking everything up

It's just clipped on there. Usually just falls off with the flexplate. Pry it off.

Got it off! Was stuck on hard, broken bolt was clipping it. Now for rethread.. either this bolt hole isn't 1/2 or my threading tool is not 1/2. Slightly aggro about this. Trying to find the right one to rethread this sucker.

Not half. It's metric. M12 is likely the diameter

Is there a part number for those flexplate shims/spacers?

Oh snap, m12 no wonder I have the wrong tap kit.. also I believe the part number is 12330 and 12333 for the back and front spacer (in that order)
