Red should be idle cut solenoid. It over on the other side of the carb

Blue is the choke heater

Yellow? I don't know probably the BCDD solenoid. It's the hex shaped thing right center of the picture with the wires in front of it.

Keep the fuel return line.  Be sure there is a Positive Crankcase Ventilation Valve (PCV Valve).

This is a block off plate with the PCV Valve added to it.  It is also a Weber Carb but carb does not matter but the PVC Valve does.

This is one of the factory plates used on the stock intake manifold.

Is gas getting to the pump? Is the tank lower than the engine? Any pump will have trouble sucking fuel up hill as it is limited to 15 PSI air pressure or less depending on altitude.. No pump made can suck fuel more than about 30 feet up hill. Get the pump 'wet' inside to get it primed and it should keep going after that.

If you get an electric pump mount as low and close to the tank as possible. Output shouldn't be much above 3.5 or 4 PSI.

pull vacuum through the fuel pump all the way to the carb inlet

then hook the line to the carb and see if it will keep running

I have to do this to my roadster if it sits more than 40 days it wont prime itself
