shacks510
I used skateboard bearings to space the rad from the lip of the core support. I shaved it a bit too because I didn't mind doing so. 1 Quote Link to comment

mrbigtanker
Did some shopping today, got the LS1 coils and bracket from powder coat shop. mocked up and looks good to me. DatRod will help me make a bracket to mount to valve cover bolts. 4 Quote Link to comment
shacks510
That's a cool spot for the coil packs, but I think it'd be a pain in the ass with them mounted with the valve cover bolts, and them getting in the way when adjusting valves. I guess you could remove everything when you take the valve cover off... 1 Quote Link to comment
tr8er
That's a good point. There's a thick (I expect) spot right between the middle two spark plugs. Round, rough aluminum where they cast it from I'd assume. You could tap a mount to that. 1 Quote Link to comment
mrbigtanker
I can look at that idea. How ever it should be fine with the idea I have in mind. I also was going to look at make a bracket useing 1 coil over top mount bolt and go against the strut area. But we will see. Working all week so it will be a few days before i can move along. 1 Quote Link to comment

Don't want to make holes there! Quote Link to comment
shacks510
How often do you think he's going to adjust the valves? ^_^ Probably only once to "get them close" for its first start, if he doesn't sell it before then  1 Quote Link to comment

DatRod will help me make a bracket to mount to valve cover bolts. This won't work. To heavy so making a mount to install on strut tower area. should still look good. Quote Link to comment
shacks510
What about on the center of the wiper cowl? I think that'd look cleaner. 1 Quote Link to comment
tr8er
What about a bracket onto the block? Just go lower. 1 Quote Link to comment
thisismatt
Mount on top of valve cover, notch hood for clearance  Quote Link to comment
