Corona521
I just got my first 521! Shout out to mytoy521, thanks again! I'm new to the datsun experience, so I hope to learn a whole lot from everyone on here- starting with replacing the carburetor. How does one post pictures on here, so I can show her off? datzenmike
Not much to replace it with, most L16s are getting scarce and well worn, but re-building is a cheap alternative. Get your hands dirty... so to speak. A new weber is about $300 but you get everything you need, gaskets, adapter plate, air filter etc. To post pictures you will need to find an image hosting service such as Photobucket. You copy the image code and bring to Ratsun and past it here. (this is very simplified) It's easy enough and free.... http://community.ratsun.net/topic/691-how-to-post-pictures-and-keep-online-photo-albums/ Welcome to Ratsun.... you have arrived. earlyvws
Dude just sell it before you get to deep in to it. Buy a Volkswagen there worth more and more fun. Sounds like u are referring to me??? If you must know I haven't touched a vw since April, been on the vw (unnamed site) in a while, and been trying to convert as many as I can. And Datsuns are a lot of fun to build (since I can't make claims on driving since I haven't really driven one yet). Value well, we will see what happens in the future. I think the VW guys are starting to get fed up with prices and start looking at something other then a VW. I think when they do they will all land on Datsun's. Get ready when that happens pricing will get out of control. Quote Link to comment

Corona521
Wish I could take credit for it, the previous owner tucked all the wires under the dash. Battery is under the bed, though if like it to be a little more accessible. Quote Link to comment
