datsunfreak
Datsunfreak said a 15x8 0 offset will work with a stretched tire under the fender wells. But i want to be sure or it will be a costly mistake. I just said that Lance made it work. ^_^ I can say with confidence that a 15x7 0 is tough if you plan on going low. And I would agree. datsunfreak
Pic of Lance's car (aka kyushakai) for reference. As I recall, he said it's a 15x8 +0 with a 175/55-15 tire. 1 Quote Link to comment

Just Joel
Yep, Lance is for sure running 8j zeros but the door bump is cut and he has rolled/stretch a lot to get them to work. Quote Link to comment
mrbigtanker
Well then thanks for that info, I guess that will be a big NO then on the 15x8 's. Any other idea's. I was thinking of just getting the 2 piece wheels i posted the other day. Just re do the centers. Quote Link to comment

The Enkei 92s like on that red wagon would work. They are 15x8 +25 with a decent amount of lip, and clearance should be better. Will probably need a small spacer to get them into the +15 range. wayno
There are photos in this thread, big improvement. I like Joels wagon, there's a reason it wins awards, to bad it's not up to JCCS standards. 2 Quote Link to comment

Dantheman
There's a set of 15/8's zero offset on the 510realm. They're not wats but they would look great on a black and red wagon. Quote Link to comment

Just Joel
Honestly though, it's not horrible but will involve cutting/welding. The door bump will need to be removed and the fender lip will need to be stretched and flattened. Even after all this work, you may still have clearance issues at full bump if you don't dramatically limit up travel. Option B is formed mini flares in the rear door/fender but this is a lot of work $$$$ 1 Quote Link to comment
Just Joel
Here's my door bump removal... Not paint friendly soooooo hurry :) Start by hacking the crap out of your inner fender until you have enough room to clear. This is what mine looked like when I was done... this was probably the hardest part of this whole thing... I had to use worn out cut off wheels in the die grinder to get all the small corners done. I didn't want to use plasma because I wanted to avoid not only the heat but also the slag that will contaminate welding and take time to clean. Ahhh, so nice... Chunk... next was putting back the metal. I chose to make it in two pieces... and then the front... Weld this off extremely slow, your don't want to warp the shit out of your rear panel. when your done, sit back and bask in your new found fender clearance :) Later Joel 3 Quote Link to comment
mrbigtanker
Very nice Joel. I was still thinking about time money and resources i have but i just dont think i want to put that much money in the wagon. Just going to keep what I got or get the 2 piece Watt's and be happy.Or spend the money and tub the shit out of this wagon. Quote Link to comment
