datzenmike Posted August 24 Report Share Posted August 24 Cool stuff. First one like it I ever saw was in the '80s. The rod cap had a grease cup mounted right on it. I asked the guy how the grease would get to the bearing with it spinning like that. He said the bearing gets hot from lack of lubrication, the heat melts the grease in the cup, and it runs down and lubes the bearing. Can't argue with that. 1 Quote Link to comment
