          I had a '72.I think I paid $250 for it.Totally restored it,including RX7 alloy wheels.

I sold it for $1000 in 1981,& thought I got a good price for it.

          Later,I had it given to me.....& gave it away.

I don't know about other makes but the first year ford had hydraulic brakes was 1940.

Years ago I was talking to a dude pressure washing an old car on a trailer and it has an emblem on the back that said warning four wheel brakes. It was cable and metal shoes. The engine had a drip oil supply and you had to open a valve to let the oil into it. The oil just ran through and fell out on the ground.

This needs some explanation as I have never heard of a Cosworth Desoto before. All the Desoto Hemis I have seen just said Desoto and it was stamped into the metal valve cover. I just did some research and Cosworth didn't exist until a year after the last Desoto Hemi was built.
