bananahamuck
This may come as a shock Freak, but thats actually a stock GMC motor. (Found this on Wiki) The 702-cubic-inch (11.5 L) V12 "Twin Six" was offered in United States GMC commercial trucks, and as a special order option in Canada. It was mistaken as two V6 engines welded together, but it is its own separate engine design based on a single casting. It used four separate exhaust manifolds, two separate carburetors, two separate distributor caps driven by a single distributor drive, and other parts from the 351. It produced 250 net SAE horsepower (190 kW). Torque was 585 lb·ft (793 N·m). There used to be a pile of those an old log truck mechanic had, on the coast,, up the Johns river.. , they were all blown up or something or just replaced with something more reasonable, who knows we were kids,,, and 40+ years ago. As kids we thought wouldn't it be cool to have 2 in a car,, man that would sure blow peoples minds..  3 Quote Link to comment

Thank god my Dad talked me out of it, and I got a 68, 510 instead. Imagine what that pile of V12 motors would be worth today. http://www.ebay.com/itm/GMC-702-V12-ENGINE-/281635746099 Quote Link to comment

paradime
Very cool technique, and a bunch of work I would imagine. I might have gone with something a little more, well aggressive rather than floral though. :hmm: Quote Link to comment

74datsun620
The worst part is that I made a mistake on lap one and jumped cushion and packed the right rear with mud so I was ignoring the vibration's. Quote Link to comment
