The 67-72 crews weren't built by GM, they were farmed out to a couple of companies that built them for fleets. There are a few guys building "what if''s" . They usually use a suburban shell and a truck shell. They cut behind the rear doors of the suburban and graft on a truck cab. The hard part is figuring out the fourth door on the drivers side ( becuase they never had an opening door on that side ) , and getting the roof right ( the sub has a crown in it , so they have to used part of a truck roof and pie cut)crewcab_zpskq5bwafh.jpg

Back to the misplaced farm equipment, this was my first truck when I became an owner-operator.

Haven't found pics of my second Corn Binder yet, but here is my first new truck, a 1984 Kenworth that made it to the cover of Owner Operator magazine. Bow on front is because we got it just before Christmas, so it was our Christmas present!
