tdaaj
Jrock, when I was in Alaska, I saw numerous 67/72 crew cab trucks. But they only had 3 dorrs like the suburbans. I suspect they were special order for commercial use. Most of the ones I saw were powerline trucks, so. 1 Quote Link to comment
Mattndew76
Large portion of crew cab rigs began production in the 60's for the logging industry. My dad had a 64 dodge crummy he brought home from work back in the 80's. It was a factory option. 2 Quote Link to comment
powerbench
The 67-72 crews weren't built by GM, they were farmed out to a couple of companies that built them for fleets. There are a few guys building "what if''s" . They usually use a suburban shell and a truck shell. They cut behind the rear doors of the suburban and graft on a truck cab. The hard part is figuring out the fourth door on the drivers side ( becuase they never had an opening door on that side ) , and getting the roof right ( the sub has a crown in it , so they have to used part of a truck roof and pie cut) 5 Quote Link to comment

goes2fast
Back to the misplaced farm equipment, this was my first truck when I became an owner-operator. After getting company signage put on, hauling half of a Cat rock truck bed. Delivering new trailer to Safeway. After new paint. 6 Quote Link to comment
goes2fast
Haven't found pics of my second Corn Binder yet, but here is my first new truck, a 1984 Kenworth that made it to the cover of Owner Operator magazine. Bow on front is because we got it just before Christmas, so it was our Christmas present! Just after getting lettering and pin striping put on. In front of the company we leased to. 3 Quote Link to comment
