Boxcar
The issue you may run into with the divorced t-case setup is the rear drive line angle, its is a shorter wheel base vehicle after all. Not to mention yky have 2 more u joints to worry about. JMHO . This is a short wheel base vehicle. 80" , with a divorced T-case. 17.75 " drive line... This is NOT a short wheel base vehicle.100"- Divorced T-case , 37" drive line... We actually could have slid the T-case forward another 4 to 5 " but are planning for a future Browny box between the trans and T-case. Most married trans /T-case set ups are close to the same over all length or longer due to the size of the chain drive T-cases. Quote Link to comment

Boxcar
What is this Browny box? Rather than building a doubler and gaining a second low/ high range. I will be adding a second 4 spd tranny between the trans t-case , this allows for 4 selectable low / high ranges. Kind of an old school thing we started to do back in the 70's using a Volvo 4 spd trans. 10" long after machine work. 32 forward gears. 100 - 1 crawl..... That is why I used the flanged drop pan 4 speed. 1 Quote Link to comment

]2eDeYe
You can also use it as a doubler if you find another one or a 205. 1 Quote Link to comment
