I tend to stick to the 1200 and 610 forums... Not sure, It runs into the wiring harness in the upper left side of the trunk. The car is still in storage in Childress TX. I have only had time to push the car out, take pictures and do some minor stuff since I decided to go ahead with this. I go there visit my elderly Mother, do some shopping for her and refill her prescription dispenser every other Friday. Then I rush back to Denton to take care of everything else. Hopefully next week I will replace the hydraulics on the clutch so I can drive it on the trailer and bring it back to the shop a couple of weeks later. Hope your new shop is going well. 1 Quote Link to comment

KiloTango1200
Doesn't look factory to me, that's why I asked. Dad liked to tinker with the car. I helped him a lot when I was young but I don't remember that. He installed an electric trunk release in '74. Might be connected to that. Got a new battery and am going to do an electrical systems check next week. I am taking a spare 20 lb fire extinguisher from the airport to do this. Just in case. 1 Quote Link to comment
