I don't like this! He butchered a classic Chevy Nomad to make a freak! And a 1955 to boot! Quote Link to comment
Chopper Jim
Late 1960's a 1955 Nomad was a used car. No one new then they would be so collectable. Here in Kingman, Az. there is a drag racer that has 2 1956 & 1 1955 Nomads that he drag raced in the 1960's out of his speed shop. Still owns them in race ready condition. 1 Quote Link to comment

datsunfreak
Late 1960's a 1955 Nomad was a used car. No one new then they would be so collectable. You know why they are collectible now? Because 98% of them were smashed, cut up, or crushed. If every Nomad ever made were still out there, they wouldn't be worth much... ^_^ 1 Quote Link to comment

MikeRL411
What's a nomad? It's a highly stylized 1955 version of the standard Chevy Bel Aire wagon but based on the show car Corvette Nomad Station Wagon [yes a Corvette Station Wagon] showcar shown at the 1954 Car Shows. I had a limited edition model of this wagon but gave it to my Niece's husband in Tokyo since he was a dedicated Chevrolet fan. He still has it!.A beautiful idea! The production 1955 Nomad was a really beautiful car! 1 Quote Link to comment
