boonedock saints
Actually, no. It's a clue as to what's under the hood. B) Everything underneath the car was made by Nissan. It has a VG33E engine from a Pathfinder, 300ZX 5spd trans, complete S13 rear suspension, and S12 front suspension with Z32 brakes. Here's pic before paint, back when he first got it drivable... I like the idea, not a slap in the face to Toyota...but..maybe a little...lol...."In the Face"....Ive said before, Im not a die hard of any brand. Quote Link to comment
boonedock saints
As the great William Shakespeare once said, "There's nothing new under the sun". And he stole that from the Bible... Some brown car porn... How do you not wanna drive this piss outta this car? Quote Link to comment
graveltrapp
I am a huge fan of the old Celicas, I look constantly for one. There prices have been grossly exagerated though. Still have much love for the 4 door rx2 though, I ill never part with mine. 1 Quote Link to comment

captaingamez
My experience with SAAB is that they are incredibly reliable. I was sad to see them go. I have only known a handful of SAAB owners though. 1 Quote Link to comment

smoke
I think I like it. I would have gone a different route with some things, like pulled the top down a little lower and the wheels are not for me personally. Quote Link to comment
graveltrapp
I'm sold. I like the looks of that exhaust, bet it sound very nice. and i'm always a sucker for exposed pulleys. jrock4224
im tired of the volks rod, import rod ... anything not a rod turned into a rat rod, style.... i do love the 1.6 dohc miata motor though ...... its a beast .. id love it in my mazda truck minus those whacky pipes too 1 Quote Link to comment
captaingamez
Best use of one I saw was a guy who put a 1.6 in his FC, it was small, light, boosted, and his car was a stripped drift/ track car so it was plenty power ant torque. Quote Link to comment
smoke
I'm tired of everything that is a total pile of shit being called a rat rod. 1 Quote Link to comment

smoke
I really don't get the bad rap they seem to have gotten over the years. I have a stock case 2387, turbo engine with over 7 years of beating on it and all I have done is changed the oil and gave it a basic tune with plugs, wires, cap and rotor. Everyone seems so shocked it has lasted more than one run. Quote Link to comment
