Picked up another tool to finish the motor, I ended up splitting this with Draynor so he has one to use on his LZ build in progress

so i went to drop off the valve stem seals i got in my gasket kit so i wouldnt have to buy a 2nd set

well, now that ive blown just about all of the datto funds i had saved up on either the KA or my parents.........

 

 

 

 

im gunna have to wait till next Friday to buy rings and bearings  :/

But, just to have it documented

   -checked for true flat on block to head surface

   -magnifluxed for cracks

   -honed

   -hot tanked

   -and fresh freeze plugs

 

* Fly Wheel surfaced

 

* 2 broken bolts removed

 

* Crank

   - polished

   - balanced

 

* Cyl Head

   - decked

   - 3 angle valve grind 

   - valve adjust

   - new valve seats

   - new valve guides

   - new valve seals

   

 

 

 

all in i spent $465.00 - and steve(the machinist) turned it around in LESS THAN A WEEK!!!!

my GF is a college student.........

 

 

 

so thats not happening, besides she already put in some cash for the bill at the machine shop as a B-day present :)

 

 

 

and im also waiting for the piston ring filer i ordered to get here too

Got the old piston rings taken off, the wrist pins removed then reinstalled and lubed
