620 with 71 skyline front end?

Its a nearly $4k kit offered thats custom made to fit the Sunny. So I imagine if you want it on a 620 you would either have buy the kit and modify it to fit the 620 or make a custom one-off setup.

For $4k you might be able to just get the actual Skyline pieces and make it happen...  :thumbup:

i think the stylings of that front end would look sweet on a 521......i like this look but seems the front end looks wider then the truck...still bad to the ass though

One step ahead of you buddy, my Japanese friend is sourcing a set of headlight bezels and grill, even better if he finds a front nose to cut off. Heres hoping, yahoo japan usually comes through.

I think a Ratsun approach would be a heck of a lot less.

 

I can picture something like this working well ...

- leaving the fenders, bumper and lower valance alone (saving $$$)

- graft a 1971~76 Ford / Mercury Capri hood onto the 620 hood

- custom grill using early 620 headlight surrounds and later 620 center section

 

I'm not much into Photoshop, but this might be worth a mock up???

As Tristin has mentioned it is a kit for the Sunny. The Hako grill has to be cut and shortened to fit that pickup. There's a guy in Cali thats building one. When I was JDM Legends the other day we were talking about this setup and he said that the Hako grill will fit the 620 without any cutting. He's actually thinking of making one with a 620 at some point. The 620 body lines goes along with the Hako and would great

My jap friend said the actual kpgc10 front griil and light surrounds run about $2500 its understandable considering old cars there.

 

So im gonna find another alternative.. Tons of long lost grill and head light combos that dont cost an arm, leg, and left nut.

I think the frontier clipped one is photo-shopped but the other 2 maybe not, The jeep clipped one is more than likely a bush buggy and the front end was used after the original was too destroyed to be repaired

The frointier one is not photo shopped,I remeber seeing it on cl a couple years ago. It was there for a long time and the chop top dosent help much either.
