Zendar
I would use this type of plenum from AMW dyno service. 215€ it's cheap... :) More pics on the links below. http://www.amwdynoservice.com/page25.php?view=productListPage&category=14 http://amwdynoservice.com/page17.php?view=thumbnailList&category=9 Quote Link to comment

But I'm afraid that is poorly sized for my application as it says it has 76mm inlet, I have 50mm. and it has a volume of 3.2l, which is too large for my engine. Quote Link to comment
Atomic
Made some small progress. I made small brackets for the headlights so I can use the original adjustment screw holes with these golf MkII angel eye headlights. Also installed and torqued down the trigger wheel: Installed the alternator while at it: Also started to look for a good position for my HAL sensor Taking the new pictures with my new phone also. I'm noticing a bit more detailed pictures, but that just might be me  3 Quote Link to comment

Mattndew76
I’m making a dual plenum for my A12 and we only need 800 CC of plenum volume. For your A15 probably closer to 900 or 1000cc Quote Link to comment
Atomic
I’m making a dual plenum for my A12 and we only need 800 CC of plenum volume. For your A15 probably closer to 900 or 1000cc Well that 800cc is withing range of 50-70% of A12 engine displacement. As is mine for roughly 750cc for that 50% range. 70% would be around that 1000cc. I'll probably end up making two plenums, I'm going for smaller one now for responsiveness, and maybe create a 1 liter one for high end power as my design is going to allow for easy swap parts for runner length change. 1 Quote Link to comment
Atomic
Wired up angles eyes: Started wiring also: I don't know why I was so silly back in the 2012 when I pulled out the wiring, for some ridiculous reason I had removed the fuse box. And now installing all the wires back to it, i noticed that on clip was broken. But I'm glad it was only back window defogger: Does someone know what this is? It was sitting in the pile of ''car wires, put them back the way they were'' Enginebay getting messy: Quote Link to comment
Lockleaf
Does your car have intermittent windshield wipers? That looks like the wiper amp for that. Quote Link to comment
Atomic
Does your car have intermittent windshield wipers? That looks like the wiper amp for that. I have no clue, there are only the 3 positions that you see in the photos above  And I already connected a pinout to the wiper motor. And it only has an input (2+2 connector + two other wires into 3x3 connector that's plugged into it), no outputs. Quote Link to comment
Atomic
Old pictures that I didn't post. I didn't remember that the car was total rust bucket   Quote Link to comment
Lockleaf
Yep. I didn't notice i could read your wiper stalk in the pic. The first position marked "int" meaning intermittent. I would bet that is the wiper amp. The wiring will be in the dash board. The amp is wired in before the motor. 1 Quote Link to comment

Atomic
I was able to find the intermittent amp place, I was looking from wrong side of the car, cheers to lockleaf  Also installed new foams for fresh air intake for both sides: The rest of the wiring took a whole day, I had to figure out a lot of stuff and in the end, it turned out I had the wrong pins for the fusebox (mirrored) woops.. But lights work now! 3 Quote Link to comment
Atomic
Ordered some aluminium for the plenum, 1000x500x3mm, cost me roughly 80USD. I ordered one big sheet so that I can make multiple plenums if I want to Over 800 pictures posted to this thread so far Edited December 11, 2017 by Atomic Quote Link to comment

Atomic
Can’t wait to see the plenum build I just hope it's not going to be a fiasco  Quote Link to comment
Atomic
Well atleast I didn't start making the plenum yet. I have to redesign the whole box. For some reason the volume calculation on solidedge was bugged and turns out that the plenum has a volume of 7.3 liters, wooops!   Well with the amount of aluminium sheet I can make dozens of plenums now atleast, lols... *facepalm* Quote Link to comment
Atomic
I was able to buy a new hood from one of the Finnish nissan club members, my old hood had some bad rusting around the inner lip and i thought it would take too much time to repair it. So I got a new hood for a good price, 50 euros. The gray marks are from some cushion that i ripped off, need to use some razor to remove them completely. I was able to make all the stock electrics work: tail lights, low beam, high beam, blinkers, break light, heater fan, heater control light, cigarette lighter etc... My cousin drew a plan for the angel eyes hookup, so they light up with park lights, but shut down when hi or low beams are toggled on. I was also able to use the stock bracket for the center console, just drilled 2 holes to tranny tunnel and now it's a solid mount: 1 Quote Link to comment
Atomic
Woops, the schematics above for angeleyes need to be changed so that the angel eyes get +12v from pin 4 when parks are on and then grounded after that (instead of constant +12v on other end). But they work now! Angeleyes with parks, shuts down when low or high beams are toggled on B) I made a starter cable (35mm^2) run from a 200A switch that is placed inside of the car, I'm going to have 50mm^2 cable from the back of the car to the 200A killswitch and then run the cables from that to the engine bay and extra stuff like new gauges and ECU. Just need to buy more relays to make separate circuits. I have bought a 8 slot fuse box for gauges and ECU + other stuff that can come to my mind. ECU will have fuses for fuel pump and something else that I can't remember right now. I haven't been taking lot of pictures because it has been mainly about the wiring and routing wires and soldering and stuff like that. I'm currently making a mount for the clutch slave cylinder. I'm drilling 2 holes for 10mm bolts to go through the frame of the car and the mount is going to be quite beefy. And then I hacked the glovebox from B310 wagon to fit the coupe, i need to find a proper one for the future (if you happen to have one, send me a pm). But yeah, sorry for long text, here are some pictures: I made a mount for lambda sensor, going to attach a oil pressure gauge later next to it. Made a mount for MAP sensor(s), one for ECU, one for gauge. Also bought an electronic voltage regulator because I couldn't find the old one even I'll post more pictures when I get something major done, didn't feel like taking pictures when running wires  Oh, and made a new bracket for the VR sensor as seen in last picture. I made the bracket out of that 3mm thick aluminium. 1 Quote Link to comment
Atomic
Have been cleaning the garage: Bought a new clutch cylinder: And made a mount for it: I'm wondering that doesn't the bumper bars fit for chrome bumper too? These bars are from plastic one, but they won't seem to work at all with chrome one, any ideas? 1 Quote Link to comment

I am pretty sure the plastic bumper is a little bit taller/thicker and that's why the brackets are different. 1 Quote Link to comment

Atomic
More wiring, got the ecu almost wired, could probably try to connect a laptop to it: Got most of the wiring sorted, separated them accordingly, doesn't look that good yet tho, I'll need organize them better later Bought a new battery also, going to run wires from the trunk to the front tomorrow: Need to clean rest of the wiring too, but all of the ECU wires have been routed now: Also noticed a problem with intakemanifold flanges, I wont be able to put a pipe to flange on the right, it will hit the exhaust manifold. I'll need to build a collector much like with original manifold that connects cylinders 1,2 and 3,4... Back to drawing board  I'm glad i didn't buy the piping yet.. Quote Link to comment
Atomic
Got a new plan for the intake manifold. Plan now is to shave off 10mm from the flanges and use really sharp 90 degree pipes and weld injector pockets to those pipes (almost like the 3D sketch). I also got the wires from the trunk ready (thicc wires) Nice ground cable from the block: + sleeved some cables: Quote Link to comment
