Carpet/Kits for 520? Look at this guys carpet.

Does anybody know if someone offers a carpet kit for a Datsun 520 pickup. This guy has a 1966 520 for sale in SF, exact truck I have and I noticed what appears to be a molded carpet over the transmission tunnel. Anybody know what this is? He claims he got the truck that way and thought it was stock. He said on either side of the tunnel it's just carpeted floor mats. Where do I get carpet for my truck?

You can get rolls of carpet at auto places like O'reilly's, and then do some cutting and massaging or stitching for the contours. Our 521 came with carpet in it as well, that the prior owner made some cuts and stitches in.

My 521 has carpet like that but it is completely worn out in every possible way. I'd love to replace it.

I just took some left over carpet my buudy had after carpeting a house and molded shaped and put it in. Been in there for 3 years now

I just joined as I am picking up  a 67 520 tomorrow and have owned and do own a couple Datsun Roadsters.  I was looking here for a carpet kit for the 520 and upon search the net a bit I have found this.http://www.jcwhitney.com/custom-tailored-nylon-cut-pile-carpeting/p2007246.jcwx?filterid=d17937y1967g2j1  I will be getting it in the next week or so and I will let you all know how it fits.

I have one of their carpet sets, front and back, in my RL411 for about 20 years.  Great fit and authentic factory appearance, texture and color.

There is no STOCK carpet in a 520, or a 521.  They has vinyl floor mats, that trapped dirt and water underneath them, and this is why so many 521 trucks have rusted out floors.

Every 521 carpet kit is aftermarket.

Bump!!!    I have been wondering this myself for Years....i can bend metal into any-shape you want!!! but Carpet and wood woop my butt...Is there anything close to the 521 that will help us wetards????
