datson4life Posted October 2, 2012 Report Share Posted October 2, 2012 sold my sonoma and finally have the cash to clean out my engine bay, so far everything is out except engine and tranny, and clutch and brake cylinders, send me some pics of your engine bays, i kinda know what i wanna do but wouldnt mind other ideas, heres how mine started idea is to sand down, paint,wire tuck, relocate battery might not finish in time for datsloco livermore meet :( Quote Link to comment
mrbigtanker Posted October 3, 2012 Report Share Posted October 3, 2012 Clean all the wires cut the battery horn and fuel filter mounts out.run a electric fuel pump under the truck and run the fuel line from behind the motor to the carb.try and reroute your clutch and brake lines to clean that compartment up and you will be looking good.mount the battery in the bed to. 1 Quote Link to comment

datson4life Posted October 3, 2012 Author Report Share Posted October 3, 2012 thanks for all the info, i help my dad out everyday about all day so it might take over a month to be finishing cause i only give it like 30 mins every 2 days, and ill also let u guys know its the 1st time i take out an engine and tranny , so i will need input when i start to mess things up shoot me some engine bay picture!!
