Justification:

It is not my truck. It never was.

I only bought it.

 

So wife and I are talking today about selling the truck.

Blah, blah, blah, no Datsun.

She says not to worry-we'll find another one.

She turns to me and say "Could you build a faster one than the truck?"

I reply with an "Oh fuck yeah."

She smiled at me as she turned and walked away.

 

No stress. None.

 

I have my eye on a couple of Datsun's I have not told anyone aboot.

 

There is a 1970 521 I've seen in the same spot for 3+ years.

Royalish blue with a white stripe. Complete!

Round mirrors and split bumpers.

Have never walked up on it though.

Looks awesome from 20 feet away.

 

Also know of a 610 that hasn't moved in a few years also.

Not as good of shape as the 521. But it has a pretty rad patina.

Appears complete.

Again, passes the 20 foot test.

 

But-BUT...

I'm really wanting a square-headlight 210.

2 door. Sedan, preferably. But wouldn't balk at a complete coupe.

I find it odd that there are not that many for sale.

So we come to today.

 

A friend of mine just sold his Datsun and all of his stuff.

Left over was a closed-chambered A87 cylinder head.

Delivered to my front door.

Rad.

 

The person who bought the Datsun from my friend PMs me today.

Saying that a short block L18 was included with the truck that he did not want.

Things are going pretty good so far.

 

 

 

And I am 98% sure that I will be receiving some more, even better good news tomorrow.

 

I have a feeling that it is going to be legen...
