Swap an American number plate for an Aussie one?

Unusual request I know, but, would anyone be interested in swapping an Aussie number plate for a US one?

 

Looking for a one for one swap, both owners to pay postage.

 

If anyone's interested, I'm not fussed as to how long it takes to get here.

 

I'll post pics of what I have soon. at the pub now, so a bit hard to take pics :)

We've got a lot of different styles of plates. Old and new. Is there one you are looking for specifically? I've got some Washington state plates you could just have if you pay postage. Are you looking for a period correct one? Do you have a preference on what state?

Not really fussed on what State, and don't mind what period it's from.

From memory I have a couple from where I live which is the capital,territory of Australia, and a couple of Queensland ones.

 

As soon as I dig them out I'llost pics.

Licence Plate Penpal Project!

 

Nice to see that this site is getting more international.

 

All I have to trade at the moment is a German moped license plate.

But how hard are they to ship? i've been trying to get one out of Korea for years...

 

I'm mainly asking about customs seizing them.

I can likely get most any state you want except maybe "Rhode island", there are some nice plates out there.

I have a customer that collects/sells license plates, most look new, he got me an era correct wa. plate with the 67 year reg. tag for my 67 datsun roadster.

 

Just search "(state name) state licence plates", there are a lot of really nice designs.

Hi everyone.

 

Apologies for not replying earlier, but, I've been " without access to comms" for the last week and a bit.

 

I still can't find the pile of plates I know I have stashed, but I will get back to those of you who have posted in the coming day( s). Assuming work doesn't drag my sorry ass off to another exotic location :)
