Tristin
Those look like early Techno pieces. Quote Link to comment
carterb
could be. I looked before posting and they certainly aren't what T3 or Futo-Fab are making at the moment anyway. --carter Quote Link to comment
Tristin
No. I remember Techno stepped their game up pretty good awhile ago... went from normal pieces a certain color, to plasma cut logo'd pieces. Overall shape and design looks about right though. Your pcs. look decent quality though, Id keep rocking them. Quote Link to comment
rusty12ver
I've seen Those lca's sold on eBay by a shop, in the USA. Maybe a search can bring it up on eBay. Just don't know if they're still around. Quote Link to comment
the510keeper
there is a guy that sells Control arms that look like that at the Eagle rock swap meet in L.A. And the T/C rods are early T3 stuff, I have a set that looks just like them Quote Link to comment
carterb
No big deal, just curious. One of those things where it is nice to know when people ask. There are a couple billet LCA's on ebay at the moment. Datsun-Parts is one of the vendors. I know that's where he got the aluminum radiator that UPS lost so could be him. Who knows. No matter... --carter Quote Link to comment
Rustina 510
Sinnful here on the forums makes some high quality lca's, fully adjustable. They are really nice Quote Link to comment
carterb
I was really hoping to drive Rice Wagon to Canby this year but a couple months before, I concluded that that just wasn't going to happen. Hmmmmm... I wonder if I could get Trouble on the road by then. Let's give it a go. So after nearly 2 years under the car cover - I decided to move it to the other garage to see if I could start a happier chapter with this car. At the same time, I found an awesome set of Techno Racing rims on ebay to help build some enthusiasm for the project. Who doesn't love big boxes of car parts from Japan?! Quote Link to comment
carterb
Getting ready to head to the tire store. Unfortunately, none of the tires on the Techno Phantom rims were worth saving so I ended up getting all new tires mounted. The guy at the tire store was funny. He'd never felt rims so light. I guess he's used to dealing with giant 20" SUV rims all day. These 14" things were like toys. Meanwhile, I started ordering all the suspension compenents I would need to correct the stock ride height "problem"... :D 1 Quote Link to comment
carterb
Time to figure out what I had and what I still needed to get. Looking to end up with 280zx spindles and brakes up front with coilovers on all four corners. Quote Link to comment

Just Joel
What are the specs on the phantoms? Quote Link to comment
carterb
The techno phantoms? The rears were 14 x 8 1/2 -17 offset (I think -17 anyway, may be +17 but they don't a + sign like the fronts) sorry - can't use them on the road. : ) the fronts were 14 x 7 +2 offset Quote Link to comment
H20doctor
what is the current price range for that car ? Quote Link to comment

carterb
Okay, before I get back to the Canby push, here are some more photos from when I first got the car before I confined it to garage storage for 2 years for bad behavior. These are from June 29, 2012. 2 Quote Link to comment

carterb
So while I was sorting out the battery charging problem, I also removed the electric fuel pump the PO had installed in case it had anything to do with the previous starting/running problems: Out with the new: and in with the old: In addition to the necessities of fixing the battery and fuel pump and adjusting the maladjusted carbs it looks like the car was also out of gas! I was hoping that would explain the lack of power and run-away revs as the carbs leaned out! Either way - on the 4th of May, 2014, I got the engine started back up and I was able to pull in and out of the garage. It was a good day and gave me confidence that I could really get this thing to Canby! Quote Link to comment
RandyWanger
Nice Coupe! But please put the over fenders back on :D 2 years in storage, you must have the patience of a saint. Quote Link to comment
