Z chopper
Hmmmbuild it hiboy style with IFS useing fairlady roadster spindles, CA18det, LSD rear diff and disk brakes, 14" watanabes. Quote Link to comment
ggzilla
Roadster? Nah, that's a phaeton. 100 mph speedometer! Just waiting for a KA swap ...? Quote Link to comment
ggzilla
14 wats? I would have though 10" watanabes would be more in keeping. This car is *really* small. It was a "light car". Quote Link to comment
ggzilla
So it's not the Phaeton either It has cut-down doors. Not sure if that is stock or what. Roadster had straight doors. Maybe it was a racing special. Datsun Type 15 Phaeton (4-seater roadster) Datsun Type 15 Roadster (non-convertible) - note the straight doors 1936 Roadster Quote Link to comment

It was a "light car". 14" wats would be perfect maybe 15" wats to be able to fit 4 wheel disk brakes. I love Datsuns and Street Rods this would be the perfect combination, take it to the Street Rod Nationals and watch all the owners of american bodied street rods tremble. I would also pull a fibreglass mold off it Quote Link to comment
