Guest Rick-rat
July 21 is the free day for us cheap Ratsun people to get in to Mt. Rainier this year. The stevens canyon road should be open this year and we can make a loop instead of going in and out the same way. posting this early so you can make plans to attend Quote Link to comment

goonfan
Whats this drive like? Uphill for a while then a race to the bottom? Initial D style? Quote Link to comment
ggzilla
Pretty much. Make sure your brakes are in good condition. Elevation climb is a mile high. Are we meeting at 7am at Krispy Kreme by Tacoma Mall? Quote Link to comment
goonfan
5,00ft is pretty high. I'll see if I can make it. IDK I'd just barely have my Z driving by then so I may sit it out and be cautious. Quote Link to comment
bananahamuck
Whats this drive like? Uphill for a while then a race to the bottom? Initial D style? Really twisty ,,like 180 degree turns but pretty low speed inside park awesome ( understatement ) scenery ...you will love it .. Last year ...this is in the straighter parts...turn down yer sound , lots of wind noise A more artistic video ..with music added Quote Link to comment
ggzilla
Speed limit in the Park is 35 mph if I recall correctly. It's a cruise, so no worries. Quote Link to comment

Guest Rick-rat
8 AM is the latest time I would like to leave Krispy Kreme, the later you go the more traffic to contend with Quote Link to comment
q-tip
Route is going to have to change a bit, mountain highway is closed between ohop and alder lake park. Quote Link to comment
