How funny, that's exactly what I did. And you can tell UPS truck when it arrives, they have that distinct engine sound. How long until you have it in your car? Plan is to use L18 block with U67 head. This should give me 8.4:1 CR Might even open up the chamber a little bit. Will need folks here on the list to guide me through the build. Never dealt with turbo before. It shouldn't be too difficult cause there's no EFI or computer to deal with. Except for the knock sensor. Will be using one of my spare L16 motor and mount it on the engine stand and give it a go. So I can address any issue on the turbo, wastegate or carb. Does anyone have any documentation on these Rajay turbo? It's no longer being made and the company has been bought out from Rotomaster to Garrett. Basically phased out from the product line. I've searched on other sites and there's hardly any info. Have you thought about a 4.11 maybe? Yikes did not factor that in On second thought I will build it for my truck instead and leave this gorgeous sedan as is. Hope will get some work done this weekend to prep the spare motor and hook the turbo. Easy said than done 4.11 gear is still on my list to get. Quote Link to comment
