Newly installed SSR RS-8 Wheels

JDM 3 piece wheel

Front:

16 x 7

Hankook 2054516

Rear:

16 x 8

Hankook 2154516

Yes, it fits with no mod on the fenders.

This is about the widest tires you can tuck in there till you flare them.

Otherwise, wheels will start to hit something.

I actually have the center section, would just need the headlight surrounds. Just saw that you are running the JDM signal lenses, nice touch !

FYI

68 Grill and head light surround goes together and does not work with 69 grill or 70-73 grill assembly.

Front signal lights are complete with the 2 bulb housing.

Not just the lens.

It's wired up so that it will alternately flash between the side marker and front marker when you have the turn signals on.

Very cool and increases visibility when your changing lane.

very nice, wheels realy change the look of the car. Do you know the offset on the rear?

Front offset: +24

Rear offset: +25

Since Panasport change their design.

Will be keeping these.

Still practically brand new with 95% tire tread on Bridgestone Potenza S-03.

if you roll the fenders you can fit wider tires I had 17x7.5 on my old 2door and had 235-40-17s on the rear and 215s on the front

True for 17 inch wheels, it should give you more clearance.

And rolling the fender was not an option for me.

The wheels I have now has 3mm clearance on the rear trailing arm.

And that's really close.

First tire shop tried to give me 205's and talk about stretch tires.

It was a difficult to track down same tire brand that offers 2 different width (205 and 215) let alone 215.

Besides, I don't have that kind of HP to really take advantage of wide tires.

For now, it's purely for looks.

You have pics of your old 2 door with those wheels?

Dude that car is super clean! No interior shots though :( Is it your daily driver?

Interior shots will be taken shortly.

Yes, I drive a Datsun everyday.

Just not this sedan.

Now I feel bad about getting 205's on my rear 8's. Oh well, maybe I'll get some 225's and keep the 205's for my front 7's :P

Wear out those tires quick and upgrade to no less than 215's

Unless you like your tires stretch like hell.

I say do a burn out till it's done. :D

For those who remembers Knight Rider.

Here's my version of it.

?action=view&current=remote-start001.flv

Had it installed 6 years ago and a feature I hardly use.

Completely forgot about it till my alarm went dead.

Went shopping for a replacement.

Another excuse to spend more money.

Viper 5000 series with a mile range that will page you if your car is alarm is set off. Probably will never you use it but it's part of the feature.

Plus the nice LCD remote controller.

Remote start only works if weather is warm (carburated).

Works best with EFI motors.

But my engine is well tuned and starts right away. :D:D

So what rig is your daily?

Monday and Tuesday

It's the 521

Wednesday to Friday

It's the 510 wagon

Weekends

Which ever is not being worked on.

My rules is there has to be at least 2 Datto's running.

The rest can be work in progress.

I wish it was that low.

Suspension geometry on a very low 510 is a big issue.

Without any major modification.

Hey, will be posting some more pix on my 410 project.

And just got a set of classic Advan SA3 wheels.

See if you can incorporate it on the car.

Force Fed Induction has arrived

Rajay Model: 3AB1FB25B1 T25

Complete and just needs some cleaning up.

Turbo turns and no shaft play that I can tell.

Carb needs to be rebuild, no big deal

Turbo gaskets will be difficult to find.

Not the best turbo setup by todays standard.

Building it for nostalgic reasons and of course to give my motor a bit more power.
