ive done thousands of pulleys and harmonic balancers..never a issue

I don't doubt you one bit,but the problem started I am sure is when he cut the front pulley off and welded a crank trigger wheel on it,so it was more then likely out of balance and I am thinking the powder coating just sealed the deal.shit happens.

We're all waiting impatiently to see your tuning guy get that 150hp out of the FJ and hear it out and about. I think it's funny that some people thought your numbers were low. IMO if you wanted huge number you would have went turbo from the begining or some SR/CA/blah swap, but what you ended up with is a beautiful, rare, engine that makes your truck very unique. 

 

However, I only visit cause I'm jealous that you and jrock have roof racks...

You know Adam I was thinking the Barrett is the 98b what the fuck I need it for I don't know,but check out the NEMO omen 300 mag bitching gun out of Montana but there about the same price I can get a price break but there in the ballpark of about 5200-5500.00 depending how you let's say go N/A or forced induction.

Well i know you do it for a living but i beg to differ.But i really think the crank trigger wheel really caused it to fuck up,pretty sure it was not balanced.And i will say i will not get a balancer powdered coated again.

the its not the powder, but it is the powder when its not even the powder...your adding rotating mass and welding it so theres no real way to ensure your balancing the pulley to begin with , unless u had it balanced after that ......

No i did not even do the hack job to begin with,and as for the powder coating i am thinking that the heat sealed the deal[maybe].But i got a new one coming so the old ones goes in to the trash.
