My friend Steve got the opportunity to do an endurance race with John Morton this summer, co-driving in Steve's 510. After the race John literally gave him the shirt off his back that he had on under his drivers suit during the race! He brought it by my shop tonight.

That's a toyota publica. I have one of those, but not here in the US. Mine has a 45hp, 996cc engine. Those japanese and european models have the 1166cc engine if I'm not mistaken.

 

It's an early 70's Toyota 1000.

 

My dad owned one like that one.

I saw a sweet 510 wagon, a 620, a 510 race car, 210 race car, pretty nice 510 wagon with swasticas, 2-240z's, and about 40 or so Datsuns in various stages today. Oh wait... I was at Steve Epperly's shop going over my KA24DE swap with NAPZ 5-speed in my 72 510 Goon.
