toylet
Ya, I could not pass them up. I private messaged a guy on ebay and I offered him lower than asking price shipped and figured he'd just ignore me or negotiate back up but it floored me when he replied with a "Yes, that's Confirm." (Japlish or something... hahaha) I even still got my eBay points for it too... Score! The last whole NOS 68 grill I saw go on ebay was $900+ without the badge a long time ago and the last NOS 70-73 Bezels I saw went for over $450! WTF? I got these for $160 shipped! I don't always get great pricing on NOS parts but when I do, Whoo Hoo!!!! When you consider buying an average USED 68 grill+bezels without badge for $400+, $160 for NOS Bezels are cheap! Thanks man! I am not changing course, I am just changing my schedule... Those were my nos bezels that i sold on ebay...i was suprised they went for that much considering the nos SSS grill i had only went for 400 Quote Link to comment

SR20DETdatsun510
Question: "Should I fill my motor with oil now while it sits? It is bone empty from assembly. Will anything rust if it is dry?? It's parked in my garage in Northern California Bay Area. The weather is no real extreme here. I just don't want anything to rust on it.... Quote Link to comment
akumazedex
You should have some assembly lube in there so you should be ok Quote Link to comment
SR20DETdatsun510
What about the cylinder walls and head? I don't have the VC on the head. Should I just drizzle some oil onto the cams and such? Quote Link to comment

aintnobiscuit
why not just fill it with oil now? It's in your car and you're not taking it back out again right? 1 Quote Link to comment
SR20DETdatsun510
Man what a top dollar build, so nice Thanks Rustina, Coming from you that means allot ;) why not just fill it with oil now? It's in your car and you're not taking it back out again right? I guess I could do that but reading the break-in article you posted it says to change your oil within the first 2 days of hard racing or 1500 miles of street driving. It does not say anything about tuning and what to use after that. I have expensive AMSOIL specific break-in fluid and don't want to waste it. Quote Link to comment
