squatches Posted August 21, 2012 Author Report Share Posted August 21, 2012 fixed/cleaned up the engine bay wiring today, also out a crown royal bag over the noisey shifter boot and started pulling the carpet out to get ready to repair rusted floorboards. shift boot, not the greatest looking but beats seeing and hearing the road. took a few more pics of the car to. 2 Quote Link to comment

squatches Posted November 12, 2012 Author Report Share Posted November 12, 2012 i painted the valve cover today while i had it off to replace the seal, also painted and cleaned a few other things in the engine bay. kinda liked leaving part of the wiper motor dingy and part clean. will be spending the next few days cleaning up the engine and engine bay. cleaning these up to put in soon. I took a bunch with my 14mp camera one day until i figured out how to change it back. Those SUs will fit on the A12 or A14 factory twin-Hitachi manifold. Quote Link to comment

Overheated? that was a post from a long time ago "2011" lol when i first got the car ive been driving it with the a14 in it for a few months now, the original engine was only running on cylinder 2 and 4. and yes over heating. Head warped more than 4 thousands inch, so it needs more than a gasket change. Then my replacement engine ran low on oil and so rod is knocking lightly. Time for a new engine ...
