hitch
Never thought I'd own one of these, but the owner was desperate and taking it to the salvage yard for scrap price. So on to my trailer to bring home. Excellent condition with nearly zero rust on the body. It has an automatic that is bad, think I will look into swapping to a manual. The engine runs fine and 63k miles. Anyone got a pedal assembly sitting around? It has AC, but not working with belt removed. Plans, since this car will be true to ratsun, I plan to shave the bumpers, throw on my 14" z 6 spokes and do a cheap drop. Cut springs and blocks in the rear. For paint, thinking two tone driveway job. Plus, I'll take suggestions, as to how to complete it. Included was the owners manual, window sticker, warranty book What cha all think? And the used trailer I scored over the weekend for $700 1 Quote Link to comment

What hotel are you staying at? Jeff The guy posted his phone number with a typo! He travels for two weeks at a time, think I just got lucky a few weeks ago when I replied to the craigs add. Kept in touch after he called me and did the deal. Quote Link to comment

hitch
I like the stripes on the 2 door fastback, not so much on the sedan. Thinking more along the lines of Color sides with Flat black above the waist. Going to stretch the fenders to the max. Quote Link to comment
hitch
Big Ratsun logo on the hood would look good. Quote Link to comment

Thinking more along the lines of Color sides with Flat black above the waist. Going to stretch the fenders to the max. your going to have to to fit the wheels your planing and not rub, I ran iron crosses on one and had to strech the fender so far that the bodyline flattened out, and that was at stock height. Maybe if you tap the lip in, tug the fender the best you can , and then roll them. The orange car wasnt mine, but it did give me lots of ideas , and I eventuly did the white stripe on my blue coupe. DONT THROW AWAY THE METAL THINGS THAT COVER THE GAP ABOVE THE BUMPERS!!! you can use them for front or rear spoilers it looks cool as hell Quote Link to comment
RedBanner
Those bumpers and ends look to be in great shape, post em on here when you get tired of them, or maybe ebay? Quote Link to comment
hitch
The bumpers are great, just the ends are rotting away on Passenger side. The bumper fillers are in nice shape also. Show me a picture where they are used as a spoiler please. Quote Link to comment

Dguy210
Good score, looks nice and straight. Belt off makes me think the compressor might be seized. If you get a chance could you post pics of the AC setup? I would like to retrofit one to my B210. Quote Link to comment
Dguy210
Also '74/75 bumper struts are shorter for a cheap tuck on the front bumper. Here is the late model B210 bumper filler used as a spoiler. From this thread http://community.rat...-b/page__st__20 Edited September 13, 2011 by Dguy210 Quote Link to comment
josh_t
sorry i'm late but bravo on the save. cash for clunkers had me real sore for a while even after it was over with and people who decide to crush old cars really get me goin too. even after mine is practically unrepairable one day i wont crush it. i will definitely get the most i can from whats left of it. for now all i want to do is keep it from getting worse until i can make it better.
