Uncle Laulau
I like the old mesh looking rims, car cast with adam carola has a good episode with him at bbs picking out rims for his datsun. Nice dime! Quote Link to comment

datzenmike
Rims are such a personal preference. And because of this and the fact that most people have horrendous taste and tend to totally over do the 'bling' factor I hesitate......... As a rule: 1/ You can't go wrong with old school or period correct rims. 2/ Less is more. Easy does it on design or chrome. The car is way more important than the rims. Never put $2,000 rims on a $500 car: you will look like the tool you are. 3/ These are 13" rim cars so no more than 14" rims. If just these to choose between.... (I'm not a fan of the mesh type) The other set are just barely in bounds for over chrome 'bling'. I'm feeling wild today so I'll pick the other set but on one condition... the tire offset must allow the tires to tuck inside the fenders without rub. If any doubts at all..... go with the mesh.
