I spent all day cleaning the gasket surfaces lol..

and taking the damn tappet plates off, so I could put the lifters back in place.. lol

 

You're probably wondering why it took all day... it's cause I was doing it with a razor, and the gasket was cooked on lol.

Then I had to go to school at 7, so the work day was cut short. :(

i'm gonna rub the surfaces with rubbing alcohol to get rid of grease, dirt.. etc.

after going through it once more.. lol ocd sorta kicked in

Its a datsun motor, razorblade old gasket off, some degreaser on a rag to clean some stuff, throw the motor back together. Bam, it works. I somehow never even thought of vacuuming my engine...

OCD was going fucking crazy, I cleaned the fuck out of the head, and cleaned the fuck out of the deck.

I took a razor to it at least 10 times... then blew all the shit off with compressed air, then gave her a wipe with alcohol vacuumed some moar, and 5 more cleans with alcohol lol.

yup a switch works as well ,,, if needed ,,, :lol: :)

 

or ... wire to "switched" ign source (key on = power ,,, key off = no power)

 

think fusebox-ish ;)

 

some people wire to (+) of coil ,,, but probably not the most approprate idea ( I have done it in the past lol )
