jesusno2
yea just had to trim a few cross members under the bed. its a tight fit but it fits. Quote Link to comment
jesusno2
So i love the 521 body and over all look but for any normal sized person they are very cramped especially if ya sorta overweight like myself (  ) so i'm gonna shorten up the steering column about 3 inches, only down fall to this is it puts the steering wheel closer to your legs. I might try to figure out a way to tilt the stock column (just not sure how yet) but this is a start welded the shaft back together and sleeved it gotta find some new bearings as one got mangled taking the steering box apart. boarlin
I think u have figured out a way to tilt the stock column I will draw something up and look into the parts and come up with a final plan Quote Link to comment
69FJWagon
Just lower the seat??? that was the only way I fit in Lisas 521 Quote Link to comment
boarlin
Plan on doing that too. Been looking at seats wanted to go with a mazda or tots bench seat with a notch in the middle to clear the stick but will probably end up going with short back or medium back buckets Quote Link to comment
DISLEXICDIME
Just stick a gm tilt colum in it . Quote Link to comment
boarlin
That would take all the fun out of designing and building your own Quote Link to comment
