datrod
The first four pic's are of the wagon after I dug it out of the trash The new oak I picked up at home depot today The old slat holders The new slats. The old slats. The strip down. After I get all the rusty bolts off I'm going to lower it and put some new wheels on and new wood slats. I might try to paint the inside. But the outside I'll just leave as is. Quote Link to comment

Way to go Johnny Boy I don't know about that. I could have bought a new wagon for what I spent on the wood. But store bought is just no fun. Quote Link to comment

troyt
I've been collecting pics of red wagons for years, and people have been making crazy radio flyers for decades. Datrod's Flyer, and I guess my Race Goon, are great examples of the illness. I like the idea of a flared and caged 'pit wagon' to haul tires and fuel jugs around with on race weekends... troyt
Spokane, WA, riverside park downtown. Quote Link to comment
datrod
Yea I did a google search for hot rod radio flyer. Holy shit some of these guys are freakin nuts. What I really want to build is a wagon too pull behind my wagon. I think that would be pretty cool. Just buy a cheap little utility trailer and make a radio flyer body for it and hook it up behind my goon. One of these days. Quote Link to comment
Creepy Cruiser
Here is the one that my son and I build when he was 3 years old. We built it, because my wife and I was not going to be dorky pushing our kid around car shows in a boring old stroller, lol. Headlights and tail lights work (super bright LED's) All race cart bearings (rolls super smooth and easy) Full tube chassis. (I ride in it all the time with my son pulling) Camber/caster and adjustable tow in the front suspension. Frenched in license plate that says "Lil Rat" He's won many trophies with it. We have a patent pending on it, and will be producing them as soon as everything is finalized. Quote Link to comment
