They are legit! or at least seem to be. So they called me today, said they dont stock that part number, but can special order directly to my house. Same price, not returnable. I know ITM has 5 left in a warehouse in NC. He said 5-6 business days.

Well it hasnt been 5-6 business days.

And then is, picking up a engine stand from CrackerJack Tomorrow, as well as looking at U67 head from H5Wagon.

I need to figure out how I am going to get the block to the shop as I get off work at 5 and they close at 6. Unless I already have it in my trunk, and traffic isnt too bad I should be able to make it...

Really, I just still have more to do before I take it in.

I just removed the pistons/rods/crank last night. I Plastigaged everything before removal. Need to figure out what my conclusion to that is.

But now I have work today.

So, gonna go box it up. Gather everything and put it in my car, hopefully I will be able to make it to the shop by 6 tomorrow (I get off work at 5 and its a bit of a distance)

So in one spot:

Block is getting bored and honed to roughly 87mm for 280ZX Flat top pistons 40 over.

And I am getting my flywheel resurfaced, since well I got it used and used a used clutch disc...

I am guessing that my rod bearings will be here tomorrow or wednesday.

My block should be done wednesday I believe, but that is mostly guessing, tuesday through thursday would be an estimate.

Still need to find a head.

Yay!!! Nearing completion of the short block! Only a few little things to do.

I got the block back on wednesday. Also got my rod bearings the same day.

Mmm Perdy!

So what did I do first? Paint the block of course!

And then I set about installing the crank

So then tonight, I got my hands a bit oily....

So yep pistons are in, all bearings are torqued. Need to install all the plugs on the block. Now I just need to find a head... Seems like no one has one right now...
