denveratsun
Dang!!! :o Great find! Hope you got a great deal on them...you gettin the third soon? Quote Link to comment
gcmustang
Third car will probably be a couple weeks. They need to move cars around to get to where this one is. The yard is a mess and third car is hidden behind lots of JUNK. Quote Link to comment
alleycat
damn sam. second one is beautiful (in my eyes) nice score Quote Link to comment
mklotz70
If that red one was a wgn........ ....I'd think about it, but not too seriously! :) Congrats on the find!!! Quote Link to comment
gcmustang
Be careful Mike I seem to be finding these cars now. I am sure I can find you a wagon. lol Quote Link to comment
MikeRL411
These pics of the PL411. Man is it clean and straight Number one! Don't throw away that dash radio delete plate! They are tricky to remove without breaking off the plastic studs but with a little patience the sheet metal screw fasteners can be unscrewed. Number two, based on the trunk lid configuration that is either a very early 411 or a 410. Check the ID plate in the engine compartment. Quote Link to comment
mklotz70
Be careful Mike I seem to be finding these cars now. I am sure I can find you a wagon. lol Maybe after a couple of other projects are gone, I'll get a 411 wgn just to say I had one :) Quote Link to comment
gcmustang
Well Just played with the SSS a little.Ran motor some more and found hose leaks, Fixed those, bled the brakes. They feel very solid now. Replaced the clutch master as no pressure coming out of it. Clutch now has movement. Next change all fluids, throw some good tires on it and it should be able to be driven. The red car had the carb missing mounting bolts and the screws to hold it in one piece. Carb has been pulled and need to find the screws to hold it together, then the process starts on it to get him running. At that point both cars will be driveable. Quote Link to comment
gcmustang
Well I no sooner posted that I needed to find the srews that hold it together and Mike Klotz called me up with a carb for me to use. I will go over to my friends and get Harvey running tomorrow. Thank you so much Mike. Quote Link to comment

gcmustang
No success today with the carb on the red one. Put the other carb on and poured some gas down his throat and it came out around the 2 gaskets at the base. Need to cut some new gaskets. Will do that Tuesday. Working some more on the black one, Pounded some of the dent on the rear 1/4 panel. Got the tail light fitting correctly, re-formed the body line, Next will be strip the paint and filler time. Guess maybe I should start a build thread on the black SSS. Red car will probably be sold once I have him up and running Quote Link to comment
gcmustang
Red one will be for sale in the next couple weeks after company is gone at my house Quote Link to comment
metalmonkey47
Oh my GOD that red one is a beauty!!! Quote Link to comment
AZhitman
Nice score, Greg!!! I'm almost finished with my resto on the WRL, but Jason (my buddy up the road who bought the hood from you) is in need of some parts for his WRL... Might touch base with him if you're planning on offloading anything. p.s. Mike's right - I'm pretty sure the red one is a 410. Quote Link to comment
gcmustang
I will have lots of parts soon. Hopefully this weekend I go to pick up the parts car. Yor are correct the red one is a 410. Quote Link to comment
banzai510(hainz)
buff out the red one Slaam it to the ground and just rollit!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Quote Link to comment
gcmustang
Finally go to get the parts car tomorrow. This should be interesting. It has no rear end so I am going to try and put it on my tow dolly backwards and strap it down real good. I will take some pics. Quote Link to comment
gcmustang
Well drug the parts car home. It was somewhat complete minus a rear end which made it a nightmare to drag the 150 miles and even get it on the tow dolly. We ratcheted it down and prayed the whole way home Quote Link to comment
gcmustang
Made a new contact today. I met a fellow datsun lover who is into the 1200's. this contact is also an upholsterer and is going to do my car for me. Sweet. I will post pictures on here when done. I need to start a build thread for the black 411SSS. Amyone who need upholstery let me know I will contact him. Quote Link to comment
gcmustang
Well many parts on the parts car sold yesterday along with wagon rear doors and some extra glass. Had a great albeit short conversation with 67wrx about the cars. He drove almost 16 hours each direction because he needed the glass. Thanks Chris Quote Link to comment
freekwonder
buff out the red one Slaam it to the ground and just rollit!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I like this idea. I would love to have either one of them. Quote Link to comment
Radim
I really like that switch box thing under the dash. Quote Link to comment
Paul G.
I spy a red drivers side door panel. Perhaps some better trim pieces too. It looks like someone was pretty hard on it in the later years. I wouldn't mind an actual 411 rim for my spare either (I'm pretty sure my wheel is 510.) (Never mind, it looks like you are going to drive the black one.) Quote Link to comment
MikeRL411
I really like that switch box thing under the dash. Part number 68831-13200 "bracket". It's for the Choke, Headlights and Wiper switches. Quote Link to comment
